Ah damn it. Feel for this side, they’ve deserved a trophy for so long and it has eluded them. Harmanpreet yet again with a big game performance, at this point you just back her to give a top performance in a big game. We need to find a good middle-order hitter to help her out and have someone that teams will worry about in the future. Fantastic performance all around though, this side deserves more backing and support from the top brass here. Preferably starting with a proper domestic T20 tournament than the show-match strategy.

My friend, here in the UK we did away with measures long ago. Our government is more concerned with tax cuts and hurting marginalized groups.

You know, one big factor that gives Australia a huge advantage is the high pressure situations. They have some incredible players, but the WBBL is the IPL (in quality terms) for the women's game. The Australian players will have experienced these moments at domestic and international levels. For the Indian side there are players that just won't have as much experience at high pressure situations. A WIPL would be huge just for gaining experience in high pressure situations against the best players. Only a couple of Indian players will have been there.

And that couple of players, regularly playing in Australia and England's WBBL, Hundred and T20 leagues from last couple of years... That's why they play like a champ against mighty Australia... that's why every nation required to have good, top notch domestic leagues...

Extremely well summed up! These sides aren't used to playing under such high pressure games and that is the reason they falter. If someone can really take up the initiative of taking Women's Cricket then not just India but all the countries will be able to put up more of a competition.

To be honest, these girls have been amazing! They are on par with the men's team. We definitely need a solid lower order and Indian women team will be sorted. They have come too close to the title in numerous occasions. Just do not get into the habit of not winning the trophies like the men's team.
