Result: Sri Lanka won by 6 runs
Man of the Match: WPUJC Vaas.

West Indies, chasing 229 for victory after an uncharacteristically restrained and nervy Sri Lanka batting performance earlier in the day, lost by six runs after an evening of tension and twisting fortunes.

Vaas, the man of the match and the leading wicket-taker in the tournament with 16 scalps, finishing with four wickets for 22 runs from his ten overs.

Great effort by Sarwan though, after taking that whack on the head, retiring hurt, coming back when needed and almost steering his team to victory.
The rain effected match v Bangladesh looks to have done for the Windies now.

Today's kenya's win over bangladesh definately kicked windies out of world cup...

Yeah kind of unlucky with the Windies having to share points with Bangladesh in that abandoned match.
