Welcome to the sixth edition of the World Premier League,everyone!
With some of the greatest legends the sport has ever seen gearing up for perhaps one last dance with the very best of the current generation,the platform is well set for an exciting season to take off.
This season will also feature many accomplished managers making their debut,who will have their work cut out,competing against those who enjoyed great success in the past.
The details are listed below:



TOURNAMENT FORMAT:
15 teams will be divided into 3 groups,with the top 2 teams from each group advancing to the next stage which will be followed by the finals.Each team plays 8 games in the first stage,facing each of the 4 other teams in their group twice.

MATCH FORMAT:
Most of us are familiar with the T30 format.Those who are not,can go through the archives of Season 4 and Season 5.The expert advice to go about this is to have a mixture of both T20 and OD specialists,the former being of slightly greater value as we have seen in the past.

SQUAD FORMAT:
All the squads will consist of 15 players.No player restrictions/division into International and Domestic categories as in the last 2 seasons.You'll have to buy 12 of them in the auction and the remaining 3 can be acquired through a draft,the rules of which,we're well aware of.There will be random injuries everyday this season but you'll be allowed to draft in a Free Agent as a replacement in such cases until your player is fit again.

PS: I have nothing to do with the 'the most dominant league...' tag in the logo.Don't know why Zax put it there.

Hmm, i don't know whether i want in or not. Never been keen on the Auction idea, especially with vcash.

Here's the final list of players available in the auction.
As you can make out,the auction consists of 12 rounds,each team having to buy exactly one player in each round.
You'll be bidding points,not vCash or Virtual Money BTW.
