I’ll give a go but its really three matches I just cant decide:

-‘99 Aus vs WI, 3rd test at Bridgetown, a masterclass from Lara in the 4th inns

-‘08 Aus vs Ind @ Sydney 2nd test, a match remembered for the day a quiet respected team India stood up to the bullies of cricket at the time, poor umpire decisions and all the drama that unfolded exposed the Australians disgusting behavior and their poor gamesmanship.

-‘92 WC final, Pakistan wins against England, a team inspired by a great leader of men. Wished I was around at the time to watch the match but Ive read about it and watch clips on youtube even the full match repeat on tv.

I mostly watch Australian cricket, as I don't have any pay TV so can't watch internationals (barring the World Cup).

These matches stick out to me:
  • 2013 Ashes, 1st Test: I remember going into my junior club at the time for I think a fundraising day, it then started raining and we were forced inside just as Mitchell Johnson was given the ball. The rest is history. What a summer that was.
  • 2015 WC Final: Just... that.
  • BBL|08 Final: What a game that was. It turned on its head when the Stars had a secure victory. Everyone else in Australia loved it too!
  • BBL|10 "The Knockout": Quite simply poetic justice for Ben "It'd be great to knock the Heat and their bad culture out" Cutting. What an innings from Heazlett too!

Apart from the finals that Pakistan won, which are obviously my favourite.

- 2016 Lord’s Test, with a hundred by Misbah and a 10-fer by Yasir
- 2016 Oval Test, with a glorious 200 by Younis
- 2018 Lord’s Test
- 2014 Asia Cup matches against Bangladesh and India, with two miraculous knocks by Afridi
- Rawalpindi Test vs SL in 2019, when Test cricket returned to Pakistan, and even if it was ruined by rain, Babar made a gorgeous hundred on the last day in front of a full house to make it a match i'll never forget

The 2001 Kolkata match was an amazing match, such a storied game.

Just some backstory for the youngsters, India had followed on batting 2nd after making 170 odd in the 1st inns, Dravid and Laxman got them over 651 with Laxman making a masterclass 280 and Dravid 180 odd, Harbahjan went on to take 6 wickets in the Aus 4th inns rattling them for 221.

Amazing match, recalled watching it on the TV with my family. Some good memories and what made it better was Tendulkar failed to make any mark on the game!

Test-

South Africa v/s India, Johannesburg 2013- South Africa needing 450 runs to win and they nearly pulled it off. An extremely nail-biting match

South Africa v/s Australia, Cape Town 2014- An amazing innings from AB de Villiers which nearly saved the Test for South Africa. Ryan Harris just opened the floodgates in the last few overs due to which Australia won an extremely close match

India v/s England, Lord's 2014- I waited for this moment for a long time as India won a Test for the first time ever in SENA country since the time I started following Test Cricket

Australia v/s India, Adelaide 2014- Smith's 160-odd in the first innings while Kohli went on to score 100 in both innings. I remember we nearly chased down 360 on the Final day until we collapsed to a superb spell from Nathan Lyon

South Africa v/s India, Johannesburg 2018- A difficult batting wicket and Indian fast bowlers dominating that match which won it for them. Elgar's innings was special too!!!!

Australia v/s India, Sydney 2020- The grit from Ashwin and Vihari for almost 40-overs before which a blitz innings from Pant almost saw us chase 408 in the 4th innings.

Australia v/s India, Gabba 2021- An Indian team without Kohli and a third string bowling line-up which troubled the Australians and won a Test series in Australia for the 2nd time!!!

ODIs-

2011 World Cup Final- The first ever World Cup Final that I watched and India winning it made it even better

England v/s Ireland, 2011 WC- Ireland's incredible chase and Kevin O'Brien's special knock

India v/s Sri Lanka, Hobart 2012- Well nothing can be better than this if you want to watch Kohli bat

India v/s Pakistan, Asia Cup 2012- Another great match between these 2 sides. Hundreds from Jamshed & Hafeez and a comeback from the Indian bowlers to restrict Pakistan to 329 which at one stage looked a 400+ Total. India went on to chase 330 because of Kohli's 183.

Pakistan v/s South Africa, Port Elizabeth 2013- South Africa losing the match by a run and Pakistan winning their first ever ODI series in South Africa.

India v/s Australia, Jaipur 2013- India's highest ever chase in ODI Cricket and Kohli's fastest ever 100.

Australia v/s England, Gabba 2014- Excellent batting from Morgan taking England past 300. Maxwell batted well but was dismissed before he could take Australia over the line. Faulkner's 50 and a last over finish won the match for Australia. It can't get better than this!!!!

Ireland v/s West Indies, 2015 WC- Ireland's third win in World Cup against a Test side.

NZ v/s South Africa 2015 WC Semi-final- Brendon McCullum's quick start, Corey Anderson's cameo and Elliott's special innings took New Zealand through to the Final

India v/s New Zealand, Wankhede 2017- What a chase that was from Kiwis. Ross Taylor and Tom Latham's incredible partnership was a sight worth watching

2019 World Cup Final- Well this match needs no description

T20Is-

Australia v/s India, Sydney 2016- India's first ever T20 series win in Australia as they became the first ever team to white-wash Australia in Australia amongst the 3-formats of the game.

South Africa v/s England 2016 WT20- An extremely high scoring match at Wankhede where England chased down 230.

Australia v/s India 2016 WT20- A must-win game for both sides to go through to the Semi-final. Kohli's incredible display of hitting in the Finals overs saw an incredible win for India

2016 WT20 Final- Carlos Brathwaite remember the name!!!!

India v/s West Indies, Florida 2016- West Indies made 240-odd and India nearly chased it down all because of KL Rahul's 110* & Dhoni's cameo!!! But it was Bravo who pulled it off.

India v/s Sri Lanka, Indore 2017- Rohit Sharma scoring the fastest ever T20I 100 and Sri Lanka looked like chasing down 250-odd

England v/s India, Manchester 2018- KL Rahul's ton was a sight for me

England v/s India, Bristol 2018- A decider match where India chased down 199 and Rohit scored his 3rd century
