Bee Gees gotta do it for me. I don't like their disco music, but their pre-disco stuff is unbeatable. good old Aussie band they are!

Born on the Isle Of Man (not part of the UK), and moved to Manchester when they were very young. Manchester was where their father was from. The family emigrated to Australia some time in the 50s, and then the Bee Gees came back to England in the late 60s.

If you mean GreenDay, I'm not a big fan of them either. Just those 2 songs are cool. Same with Iron Maiden and Metallica.
