Yousuf Removed From ICC Test Rankings But Not ODI

Doesn't mean he is the best player now though, means that 5 years ago he was the best player and in the mean time no-one has been as good as he was at that stage 5 years ago, not now. As of now he obviously will not be the same player he was 5 years ago therefore deserves to move down.

It's only been 14 months...

And besides, if you're basis of judging players is based on the ICC Rankings..... then hmm.

It might not seem that long but a player's ranking of his form 14 months ago is not representative of how good a player he is now.

Where did I say I judged players from the rankings. It's still a pretty big thing for a player to be ranked as the best in the world though. I hate that moron who's trying to tell us how KP's not as good as Dhoni because Dhoni's ranked number 1.

Well what do you want done about it?

Go e-mail the ICC to change the rules, but as per current rules dictate, Yousuf should be #1.

I think we can all agree on that.

Doesn't matter anymore anyway. Yousuf would've dropped by now due to him missing a Test and Younis is #1 now.
