The fix is on the disc itself. For some reason the exes that are installed by the game are different to the ones on the disc. So all you have to do to get it running on XP is copy the exe files that are on the disc. I can't tell you which folder because I've got my SWC 99 disc out to find it has got a huge crack in it and my computer won't read it.

All I know is that I got it working without downloading anything.

Hey I felt great today. Got hold of a demo copy and ran it and boom! It works without any issues in the Win7 RC. Great game really.

Just working on a demo expander as I'm speaking. I can't find the full game anywhere so I've just gotta play for more in the demo. :

the gameplay of BLC'99 is far far better than cricket-02,04,05,07 & BLC05 and BLC 07 & Ashes2009.
the game engine was spectacular and taking singles and double was very skillfull. in all the other games u hit an ondrive it goes for a four and in Cricket 07 the only place were u can score a single is by hiting to square leg.
god i miss playing BLC'99

I'm only able to play it in Software mode in Vista but I'm really enjoying it. It's great.
