ICC World T20 Bangladesh 2014

poor YUVI. He did fail miserably, but the flak he is getting from everyone is borderline ridiculous. I guess its part and parcel of being an Indian cricket superstar. The stress must be unbelievable

If this was the English cricket team, YUVI would have probably quit citing mental disintegration and trauma :spy

Meh... That excuse won't work on brown people. Brown people claiming to be depressed, you know something is shady.

THE TOP SPIN: Yuvraj's tortuous final meltdown might just have done Twenty20 a favour (yes, really) | Mail Online

Quote from the Article
----------------------
All the while, at the other end, was Virat Kohli, a smouldering ball of fury at the best of times and comfortably the best batsman in the competition. Yet during India?s dreadful final four overs, he managed to face only eight balls.

The script was being torn up in front of his face ? by a team-mate. When Yuvraj approached Kohli during the presentation ceremony and gave him a hug ? half-consoling, half-apologetic ? Kohli barely glanced up from his smartphone.

From the above lines mentioned in the article, I completely despise Kohli's reaction (if what is said above was true). No matter who the other person is, you cant blame him for a bad day. And more so when that guy is a world champion player like Yuvraj who has won India world titles. This is what Kohli's problem could be in future when he leads India out there in cricket. If he doesn't change his attitude, he could end up in a lot of problems. Saurav Ganguly did end up in problems himself, and Kohli is 4x Ganguly in terms of temperament/attitude.

Wouldn't put it past kohli turning up at yuvi's house swearing cuss words and pelting stones:p just kidding on a serious note whoever did it were not cricket fans probably some riff raf looking for an excuse to break others property, Ya kohli's reaction is sometimes very immature and hot headed(, esp yuvi being the guy that lifted him off and enjoyed his success during SA match, but im also sure he would have later made up, virat is more of heart on the sleeve type not a grudge guy.Its also good to know he is as involved with the game as us fans rather than being politically correct.Obviously he has to tone his reactions down before being considered as captain full time, he is only 25, 2 years more he will settle down a bit hopefully.

Its a bit disheartening from yuvi's point of view, we can only guess how bad he must have felt whatever he did at the crease, given his form he shouldnt have been rushed into the team, despite that performance against aus, leaving him a bit more time in the FC matches would have made him strive more and more hungrier to get back, that once he was back after finding form in FC he would have been a boon to the team.

Now all thats happened is his confidence is destroyed more, im never a believer in backing people at INTL level when they are making comeback without a good FC form, if you cant hit form in FC you cant at INTL level however great you were, sourav who said otherwise for viru and bhaji, himself had to get back to form with FC games during his career. Even SRT does give great importance to FC matches to get in touch with the game.

Hope yuvi puts this past behind him like ISHY mishy does after every match:p and concentrates to get himself together, he also needs to improve his attitude and probably get some help. He is no longer that positive ball of energy he used to be, instead he has become sort of lost looking, which isnt good for him nor the team.

Ofcourse with age and all that he went through his fielding isn't going to be the same, I can live with that but, he needs to find his old self back in soul, like SRT ,dada, all the past greats. He needs to find his core again and start enjoying the game again.Hope he puts this behind him and starts fresh:thumbs
