A new update to Don Bradman Cricket 14 has been released for the Steam version of the game. As well as some general bug fixes, this release adds a new per-team modding capability to the game, greatly expanding the available slots for replacing the default game content.

In addition, the game is now enabled for Steam Cloud Saves - letting you sync your saved games to pick up again on any other machine you log in to Steam with - great for those of you with multiple PCs.

Changelog for this version:

- Add support for Steam Cloud Saves
- Added per-team modding support
- Fixed issues resuming online matches on the opposite machine to the one commencing
- Fixed career crash related to international selection

See this thread in the Downloads forum for more info on the procedures for taking advantage of the new modding options.

Very glad to see steam cloud save !

A Huge 333 Mb update !! :D Hoping that runout bugs and invisible balls/markers are no more..

Thank you team

Hopefully people appreciate what this means for modding. Rather than having 22 bat slots for the entire game, we can now have 22 bat slots PER TEAM. Same goes with kits. You can make a kit for every team with no clashes now. Absolutely brilliant.

Thanks a lot!

You mean this is patch 3 right?

No gameplay changes in this release?

The PC version got "patch 3" as the series of smaller updates over the last couple of months, some of those patches were gameplay related, while others like this one added features and bug fixes.

Some details about Steam Cloud Saves is needed

1- Is this will save the file after some time interval , auto process , or exactly at the time when the file is changed
2- If for exactly at the time when the file is changed then sync file too will be corrupt.
3- Is Steam cloud is free or there will be a charges .

It will sync your save games once you exit from playing the game, so you'll need to leave Steam open for a moment after you finish playing the game to get it to sync up to the server. There'll be a progress meter next to the game name in your steam games list.

There's no charge for it (other than any internet data usage fees), and you have 1GB of storage space across your steam games. If you wish, you can disable it by right clicking the game in Steam, and going to the Updates tab of the Properties menu, and unchecking the 'Enable Steam Cloud synchronization for Don Bradman Cricket 14' box.

Seems the only thing with regards to the Console side is the "general bug fixes"

Is this right ?
Yes - the consoles all already support cloud saves, and unfortuantly it isn't possible to enable modding options for them.

wowwwwwwwwww. awesome......:cheers

You can mod specific team textures, instead of universal templates.

Getting a weird error after the update. All my stumps are showing up as all-white (regardless of the choice I've selected) and I'm getting a pretty sweet White/Red ball...

This happens in all modes. Career/Casual and overwrites whatever I've set in the match-editor.

EDIT:

Just a quick update, pink ball works fine. So that's nice, but the stumps all show up as all-white.
