Coetzee, 22, earns his place after impressing for his domestic team Knights - picking up 40 wickets at an average of 28.82 and a career-best 4-47

Coetzee justified his election in Proteas team with Hat-ricks vs CA xl in warm up game. Elgar well tune up with Hundred in Drawn game

Aus 5 Down at Close vs Clinical Proteas bowling

Smith (36) & Head (78 not out ) put on 100 for 4Th wicket.

142/5 at close
5th wkt fall was Boland

2 wkts each by Nortje & Rabada.

It’s hilarious that South Africa are tumbling to 150 all out whilst leaving their best domestic batter at home because he has a dodgy ankle. The same dodgy ankle that has apparently helped him score four centuries recently. Not to mention dropping their most talented batter because he was in wretched form whilst keeping the likes of RvD still in the XI. Looks like the old Smith era of cliques is back in fashion with Deano at the top, ironic given the similarities between those two figures as batters.

Head’s a very valuable player in this Aussie lineup because of his ability to score quickly like today. Can completely shift the momentum of an innings even if wickets fall at the other end and leave the side in a secure position. If only he learns to play spin well….

I know him since he hits 100 for Aus A in India, He was not even Debut than, he can be very useful as bowler in coming tour of india,

We must need to beat Aus 4/0 so we can Qualify for WTC final also vs Ozzie at oval on june 7-11,2023.

On-going test Typical Brisbane track on day 1 or Before Lunch everyday.

South Africa will be bounce Back
