Women's Internationals

Hayley Matthews has got her fifth ODI century (equal with Mandhana, Kaur, Healy) in another innings dominated by a star player.

Can't work out if teams are improving significantly or if they, South Africa in particular, are falling back after so many recent retirements.

This is best time for women's cricket to grow globally... There is only 3 to 4 are really strong teams...

Completely agreed, there’s more teams in the women’s side of the sport that have the potential to establish themselves. The real trouble arises from the ICC being the ICC as usual.

Scotland have beaten Ireland to qualify for the T20 World Cup

One more place up for grabs between UAE and Sri Lanka.

The groups were 'revealed' today too:

Group A: Australia, India, New Zealand, Pakistan, Qualifier 1

Group B: South Africa, England, West Indies, Bangladesh, Qualifier 2

Pakistan have played some good cricket and some not good cricket either side. Against sides with less depth (which is realistically everyone apart from Australia) they would push them closer.
Aliya Riaz’s omission was baffling. Missed both her batting and part-time medium pace. Too many spinners.
