Me, Myself and I
I'm Maninder Heer. That's right, you heard it first here. Maninder Heer. A peppy 18 year old living in Hedge End, it's just North-East of Southampton. For those of you who don't know that's in Hampshire, the south of Hampshire. So I love cricket. I love it so much I play for the Hampshire 2nd XI. I'm hoping to break into the senior team this season and get a few games under my belt. I'm a Right arm leg spinning all rounder. Right arm batsman too. I can turn it a mile and hit it for six!
I'm not your normal person. I'm a "strange" hyper active guy. I don't know what's so strange about me, I just do anything I want whenever I want, but don't worry I'm not some trouble maker. I just wear my Pyjamas when I go out on a Saturday night. Why not? They're comfortable and I want to. It doesn't bother me what people think of me. I'm not anti-social or anything but most people think I'm weird, not that I give a damn anyway.
Now back to my cricketing. I'm quite an aggressive batsman to be honest. I like to go out there and play the bowler around the park. I'm not an all out slogger though. I pick my shots wisely and all, I just play it through the gaps. I'm a tactical player. It's not just smashing it with all your power and hoping it will go over the ropes.
Onto my bowling now. I'm a better bowler than batsman I reckon. I spin the ball quite a lot. I pitch it quite full and get a lot of height on it, keep the batsman guessing til the last minute. I vary my deliveries though. I have a pretty nifty googly. My best mate also plays for Hampshire. He's a left arm chinamen all rounder. He's a right arm batsman though. His name is...
