well, i think this ones gonna be my second topic i start

since i started to get interested in cricket i started to interest for the different cultures of the different cricket nations at the same time and i wondered how different actually these cultures are from the one i know.....especially the indian culture is soooo different from the european one and i want you to name the country youre from and what is the most typical thing for your country or culture and what is the most often prejudice you have to face.....btw, i know my english sucks but i hope you understand what i try to say.....

so, im first......

im from germany and we are still having our nazi image which is ofcourse not true. its part of our history and one of my grandpas fought in the war and became later on a prisoner of war by the russians but my generation ofcourse has nothing to do whith all that stuff....

another prejudice we have to face is, that thanx to the tweaking octoberfest, the whole world thinks we are all wearing these tweaking leather trousers and eat bratwurst every day.....just to get it right, these trousers are only worn by a few people in one of germanys sixteen states and thats it....its bavaria where the octoberfest takes place every year.....

so, now its your turn.-...

The thing is with the American "tags," is that people look at the south and you get all of those, I'd pretty much guess that everyone who says things like that are going off of those who live in the south as lets be honest, they're a bit slow

Again, I'm not saying everyone is slow etc. but as a general rule of thumb, treat anyone from between Georgia and the West of Texas as a bit slow.

Thing which annoys me is the British drink tea and eat scones, I drink tea as sparingly as possible (IE - In winter when its just needed) and in all the time I've lived here, I've not once eaten a scone and nor has my family.

Well considering that I am from Texas and I drink tea, it shows how generalized sterotypes could not be further from the truth when applied at an individual level.

Bassically low lifes leaving off our tax money (well, not mine, I don't have to pay just yet ). Having said that, not all people on the dole are like that. My step dad's on the dole having being 'unrightfully' fired and he's the complete opposite. He hates it. It's those that just don't bother that are the scum of this country.

A person who can't be arsed to find a job and fend for themselves so go one the "dole," which the government give them money per week. It comes out of those who works tax's which is disgusting.

Dole-dossers are almost as bad as frauding disabled people, you see them park in a disabled space at a supermarket, and they run out of their car and come back carrying 5 heavy bags. I mean, how are they disabled!

We do have some people here who leech off Welfare (our social program), however you can only be on unemployment for 1 year here and then welfare for 4 years, after that your on your own.
