So they will pay you to be unemployed for how long? There has to be a limit, otherwise why would people ever go and look for a job?

It's pretty paltry, my Dad is unemployed atm and gets Pension credit (unemployment benefit for people over 60), it's double what job seekers allowance is, and is just about liveable off (?190/week).

Ugly is not a measurable quantity and there is no scientific way of measuring it.
