As T20 cricket growing so fast that everybody is now talking to save the Test cricket. The T20 cricket has gone beyond the imagination of the world.People like this fast and furious format but Test cricket still has it's own charm.

What do you think that how can we keep test circket alive? How can we bring more people to the grounds and Will it be a good idea to start a day night test to save test cricket or not?

People still enjoy watching a good Test series. I bet this Ashes the stadiums will be packed to the rafters.

If you are in SA or one of the teams is crap, you will always get low crowd numbers.

To revive Test Cricket, it needs to be more aggresive.
India , Australia and South Africa have achieved this in terms of Sehwag and others , but other teams need to improve.

SA is the worst place for Test cricket, unless India or England are touring.

Personally i don't like much the players who play aggressively in tests.I think test cricket is all about patience and mental toughness

But some pitches these days are so flat, playing aggresive is better. Shame.

Would you like Sehwag to play patiently - 50 in 100 balls ?? or fast about 90-110 in 100 balls??

Personally I think Test cricket is all about a batsmen trying to survive, while the bowler gives his best, but if the bowler makes a mistake the batsmen has the opportunity to score. Not the other way around :facepalm

Test cricket is fine as it is but ODIs are starting to get really boring. You may be able to watch the 1st innings of a match but it's so tough for a viewer to watch the run chase of a 50-over because of the boring middle overs.

Imo either the powerplay system of 3 fielders outside the circle should to be removed cause it makes no sense and just causes the boring middle overs or the 50-over format should be reduced to 40 overs per side.

omg not this again. there are like 15 other threads on the same topic

"Everyone is talking about Test cricket dying. Maybe we are pre-empting its death and trying to kill it before its time. When it comes to players, they value playing the five-day version a lot more than they do any other version."

Sangakara

its not tweaking dying! you fools just die already!!
