Save Test Cricket

What were crowds like before the ban?

The smaller cities attracted rather large crowds at times, especially on weekends. However the urband cities saw abysmal crowds for Test Matches. :(

Just stop talking about the 'death of test cricket', especially when the IPL and the T20 games come. The IPL has not even started yet, and you are already onto the death of test cricket?

Also once the IPL and the T20 WC is over, people will be so desperate to get back to test cricket (after the overload of T20 madness) that test cricket will never die. T20 cricket is actually indirectly helping test cricket to find its own charm and survive. Its ODI's that need help because runs are bled very easily due to the T20 invention. And the flat pitches dont help at all.

Test cricket has actually had a really good last few years, starting with the SA tour to Australia.

There have been a lot of really close matches and exciting draws. Its doing just fine :)
