Number on the helmet(in career mode)?

I have been for about a week now. Im in the second year of my career now, i was just wondering if the number on the helmet in "play-next-match" screen in career mode mean anything?

Coz i remember reading somewhere that number somewhat means the level your player is at?

Hello, I recently moved to level 2 when my career points was around 9000+. But I'm not sure on couple of things

1. If the level transition is based on career points (I think it should be)
2. I'm not sure if the career points are calculated separately for each careers well .

No, it is not based on career points . It is based on your skill set. you start with helmet rating 1 And with your increasing skills your helmet rating increases . When your all skills are almost complete you will reach helmet rating 5 .
Career points are for leaderboard, they don't have any effect on helmet rating or your skills.[DOUBLEPOST=1425308372][/DOUBLEPOST]

IMHO about 20% gain overall in skill set. Not sure though

I've noticed that the helmet also changes colors unless I smoked a Lil too much lol. I think I'm right though. Maybe this is a hot/cold kinda thing Idk.
