Which is better? Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro vs Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1

I am eyeing on Zenfone 5z... if price comes as I expected, I will get one...

After using it for 10 days, here's a detailed review of the device.

Screen
Fantastic panel. Loving the Colors.

Video
Great output with excellent frame rate.

Audio
Loud enough to wake the whole area up.(mostly used at 50-70%)

Processing and RAM Mgt
https://browser.geekbench.com/v4/cpu/8853026

I could easily continue an app minimized 1 hour ago.

Battery life
Easily 11-12 hours of SoT on continuous usage and 9-10 hours of SoT with a standby time on 30-32 hours.(All info for 15% charge)

It took around 2 1/2 to 2 3/4 hours to completlco charge from 15%.

Also, battery is very wffieffic even while using dual 4G VOLTE(only dropped around an hour).

Camera
Photo
Rear
Daylight/good light shots are great with spot on Colors but they tend to become grainy in extreme lowlight. Portrait shots are great especially after the a variable aperture mode.

Front
Great, much better than what I heard and read, agree not the best but not bad. AI portrait but edge detection is good.

Video
Good, but lack of EIS is an idsis

Additional pros and cons

Pros
  • LED notification light.
  • ZenMotion Gestures
  • Great fingerprint sensor.
  • Face unlock is good as it only uses the average front camera.

Cons
  • No EIS
  • Image processing could be worked on as seen with Google camera the lenses are great.
  • Qualcomm quick charge 4 is supported but not enabled on the device as I tried with my old Moto Turbo charger.
  • No Gorilla Glass protection.
Attaching a few samples for you guys.

Can the yellowish tint in the Asus when displaying white background be changed to more clear white like Redmi Note 5?

Also, do you remember how much RAM and internal memory was available at the time of first boot? I saw few Mi phones and they had less than half of the RAM available compared to on the box. For. 2GB RAM version, only about 815MB RAM was available, for 3GB RAM version, 1.2/1.3 GB RAM was available and so on. As far internal memory is concerned, for 16GB version, only 7.5/7.8GB was usable and so on which is very pathetic compared to the promised RAM and internal memory out of the box.

What was shocking is that 2GB version of Sony R1 had more RAM available to use than 3GB RAM variant of Redmi 5 and Redmi Note 5!!

Yeah, there's an option to adjust the temperature of the screen Colors.

~51 GB(OOB). RAM: 1.7 GB free(current scenario with 71 apps installed).

Got Redmi Note 5(vanilla) for my mom. To be frank the fingerprint sensor is doubly fast as of this one!

Zenfone Max Pro M1 6GB variant is released, it is better according to me.
