Australia tour of India 2023 (3 ODI & 5 T20i) Sep 22 - Dec 03

Shreyas Iyer in place of Kohli and he fullfill the spot perfectly by dropping Warner's easy catch...

Jadeja and Ashwin together… only five bowling options… it’s like we’ve reverted back to a pre 2017 model of ODIs.

And oh look, Ashwin is being milked for runs whilst he tries to do his usual big brain routines while Jadeja so far has been keeping things tight. Bet we’ll also see Jadeja bat ahead of Ashwin for obvious reasons. Who would have thought that this would happen?

Karthik to make a late run into the middle order

Sanju Manju praising Rahul for stumping Lasagna! :laughter::laughter::laughter:

Credit to Ashwin, he’s looked better in his second spell.

Rahul’s also done decently with his bowling choices so far despite the lack of flexibility. The fielding hasn’t really helped him today either.

This is like watching Badrinath and Kohli together.

Copied from a tweet that bloke summed it up perfectly.

Good that Gill’s not letting the target dictate the pace of the innings and that he’s willing to play aggressively true to the surface. Gaikwad has to learn to rotate the strike more it looks like as his style of batting in domestic cricket may not completely transfer over successfully.

Just based on his injury and current form that he has shown none, I would be in favor of dropping Shreyas Iyer. We cannot have a Vijay Shankar esque scenario this World Cup. Iyer no matter how good he is, is only the 2 weak link in the squad along with SKY.

Iyer dropped for MSD?
