Just noticed. On the "PSP" listings - ICC 2007 had been on the "Coming Soon" list for about a month.

It's been removed - still listed in a search but not "Front page news"

The advertised date is now 31st August... on the search

Just in time for the end of the cricket season here in the UK....

I doubt it'll come out at all. Not a mention of it anywhere in months other than game site "coming soon" listings - and a game called "2007" that comes out this late in the year .... I don't think so.

It'll be out after several EA sports "2008" titles.

Oh well

Im sure it will evntually come out

I imagine they just haven't got enough interest for it on PSP.

Yeah true. They might not want to start ICC on a new thing or something.

Who could tell - when as far as I can see both the publishers and developers website (Empire and I'm supposing "Childish Things" ) have not one jot of evidence that the game even exists - - in ANY format.

Looks like "vapour ware " to me.

One old press release - and that's it.

I think getting Sony approval for a PSP game (testing etc) costs a 6 figure sum in dollars. I always took the whole thing with an enourmous grain of salt.

Hope I'm wrong. Cricket sims on the move would be fantastic.

Well, usually a game is produced, announced on certain consoles and then they stay on those or expand depending on the interest to these. So I'm just guessing but I'd imagine that the amount of people cloamboring to get ICC on PSP wasn't large enough to constitute the mass production of the game.

@Animator..

You might be right..but how would they guage this ?

There is no mention of it anywhere. Just that press release from earlier in the year.

Never mind a game site for it...not even a mention of the game existing on either the developers or publishers sites. .:what

I mean - how can you guage support for something that exists entirely as a cover pack shot and an old press release? I don't think that's feasible.

But it may well be what's happened...shame.

i dont understand why they would even consider putting it out on the PSP in the first place, the DS is outselling it by 2-1, if it was going to come out on a handheld then surely it would be on the DS

ok maybe it shouldnt be on PSP, and the only handheld it could be on would be the DS because unless the graphics are something Prince of Persia's (lol!)then it should be on DS because to be honest the DS isnt good in graphics and the PSP have high standards in graphics to keep up.....:)

personally i would rather play a great game on the DS with ok visuals than a poorly made boring game on the psp with good visuals, i like good games! graphics dont make a game!!!!! GAMEPLAY makes a good game!!!!!

anyway, the graphics on ICC could be done by a gameboy!

and i really cant see ICC coming out on a handheld!!! a mobile version would be class!! could play on the train in the morning!!!!

I agree Lancashire666

The touchpad would make for some interesting developemts (field changes would be much easier - menu's would probably be too)

I own both (i have everything out except a PSIII - i'll wait till they are cheaper) So no "mine is better than yours2 axe to grind here.) But I think a DS game would be better to

I'd take a good game on any mobile platform though (I have a GX2 - so i get to play Robin Smiths from Challenge software from about 1992 on the speccy emulator on the go - so at least that's something)

ICC on PSP ? My guess....

The very dissapointing Ashes series for England - and a woefully boring world cup have poured cold water on the cricket heat that had been going on for the last 18 months - and that has been the catalyst for delay/cancellation

Having had a think. It might be because it's not far from release now. Most of those sites won't update their websites very regularly, so It could just be the changing around of everything.
