If this is the response and the change is intended, C24 is done for me. I have criticised BA a couple of times but I also understand software is hard. Hard to make, hard to maintain and in some cases, hard to test. However, changing something this fundamental and not giving us a choice to revert...

Somehow feels closer to vapourware than a real product....

I really, really wish Steam allowed us to rollback. At least for a definite amount of time... The entire easter weekend is wasted with this dumb change of pitch marker.

@MattW, the single player game is now ruined completely. The pitch marker is setting is now completely useless and appears too late. I am not hardcore gamer to disable the pitch marker any play. Please fix this at the earliest. I am going to create a ticket as well :facepalm2:

For now, until the runout and fielding issues are sorted, we can live with the wrong pitch visuals. We ask them to fix the gameplay and while they are at it, we also moan about visuals. Let us create those tickets and give them a chance to fix it.

I find it funny and infuriating when someone compares a mobile game with a console title. If you are so interested in playing a “mobile game”, please do so. If it is free and you are enjoying the game play, then I wish you all the best. This also will save you a ton of money which you can use...

I know the launch was tough but BA has been getting their act together. Raise a ticket for this issue. This is the right way of handling feedback. If they did not know how to fix issues, we would not be able to play a decent match.

After what seems an eternity, I have started enjoying bowling in a cricket game. The seam and swing, especially when the batsman is beaten is a treat. Setting up the batsman and getting his wicket is a cherry on the cake. I just hope BA does not break anything in future patches. At least...

It is not EA. It is an Indie studio from India...

I do not care much about the graphics. If the gameplay is good without any loot-boxes or terrible IAPs (like mobile games), I am all for it. At this point, any competition to BA could do wonders for us, customers....

Should I go ahead and install the latest patch? I am on PC and having an awesome gameplay with a test match between England and India...

This is a server issue. No point in reinstalls. The only option here is to wait for the servers to come back or you can request a refund if you want to (I would not if I were you)

Oh! The irony. Paying customers are left in a lurch while people using the high seas version have no such issue.

IMHO, it is a sin to compare mobile games gameplay with console/PC. Realistic or not. I have bought/played RC22 and C22. The similarity ends at both being cricket games. Comparing them is like comparing apples and oranges.

Seeing some positive comments here. With all these patches, is C24 now better than C22? Worth investing the money or stick to C22?
