Australia going 4/34 > 7/281 is sure to be remembered as one of the great escapes in Test history. Would've liked Carey to be rewarded with the century for it, (98* and Patto stole his winning runs), but at least he's been given player of the match.
Biggest issue for me was that the entire ODI series felt like an afterthought with both sides fielding a mostly second XI squad. Why was the ODI Super League scrapped? At least that gave bilateral ODI's some kind of tournament structure to exist within, like how the World Test Championship has...
Making my first post on PC in ages because there's something about Australia's 2nd innings that I feel needs more attention.
From the point when Starc joined Smith at the crease with Australia 6 down, it took 73 deliveries for the West Indies to take the next 3 wickets. Out of these, Smith...
This is a common problem on PC when you try to play on a computer that doesn't have enough RAM. This is a simple fix however; all you need to do is download more RAM and then the game will work perfectly.
This issue ended up being a non-issue in the end. In fact with the team batting first now winning the last four (overall score is 6-5 to the chasers), if this stretch of games had happened at the start of the tournament this thread may have been titled "team batting first always wins". Just...
Tail-enders are sometimes able to come out and score boundaries from ball one, which I think we can all agree is unrealistic... but they're rarely able to get a big score before running out of talent and putting one down a fielders throat. Results so far are inconclusive, but I do think that...
You can call this particular 'scripting' issue busted as game five was a wonderful game where the team batting first made a modest 8/130 on a worn out pitch then bowled out their opponents for 125 to win it.
I'll keep an eye on this potential issue as the tournament continues and let you know...
I recently started a 20/20 draft league for DBC on another forum, and were at the part where I play out the games, in this case via watching the CPU duke it out with itself and keeping track of the league table manually. It's been very well received so far, but some of us have a problem with...
I can't understand blockerdave's logic. I for one would be fully supportive of any new game mode added to the next edition of this game franchise, just as long as it doesn't take up so much of the developer's resources and man hours that it results in the game itself being ****. In fact...
Platform: PS3
Mode: Casual, T20 game
Description of Issue: I decided to review an appeal for a caught behind that got turned down, as it looked like a close call. But despite the snick-o-meter and the hotspot both showing a faint, but noticeable outside edge on the way to the keeper, the appeal...
By which you mean you're on your bike because that decision just got you fired from your international umpiring duties. Welcome back to officiating county 2nd XI games!
You go over two thirds of a domestic season without getting a single fifty... and then two come along in two games. My first fifty came in a 50 over game against NSW where we (QLD) as a team struggled to keep the run rate up, and this unfortunately resulted in me getting two my partners run out...
Would it even be technically possible to make a functional Rugby Union video game, considering how all the rules of that game tend to confuse everyone, including the professional players on the pitch?
Not in a convenient way.
However, you could play each of the two or three groups as a separate league competition, keep track of which teams qualify (depending on what season/format you're trying to replicate), then run the knock-out stage as another competition again...
