Peshawar scale Central Punjab's 332 to become Pepsi Cup finalists off the back of a match-winning hundred from Virat Kohli. An outstanding knock from the lynchpin of Peshawar's batting, who up until this point, was having a pretty quiet tournament, but today, Peshawar needed their big guns to step up and face the enormity of this occasion, and who better to deliver in a crunch situation than Virat Kohli, whose match-winning hundred helps Peshawar overcome Central Punjab and secure their place in the final of the Pepsi Cup against Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Abbottabad braces itself for a collision between two regional rivals in the biggest match of the tournament.
Central Punjab's bowlers failed to threaten Peshawar, even with runs behind them, bowling wayward lines and appearing quite toothless in a match of such importance. In both playoff games, Central Punjab's batting turned up for the occasion, but they were let down greatly by their bowlers, who failed to deliver at their own homeground.
