[Na Maloom Afraad]

Faysal Bank T20, unmistakably named after its title sponsor Faysal Bank, is a T20 tournament held in Pakistan.
Established in 2005 by the Pakistan Cricket Board, it is reputed to be one of the oldest T20 tournaments in the world.

It served as the principal T20 cricket competition in Pakistan until the introduction of the Pakistan Super League in 2016.
Faysal Bank T20 is still considered to be one of the most celebrated sporting events in the country due to its heritage.

The 2024/25 Faysal Bank T20 will be the 21st edition of the tournament, and the first to feature a record TWENTY teams.

Spoiler: Pitch Types

Pitch Types

Damp/Sticky - Massively in favor of bowlers and an absolute nightmare to bat on, unless you're Victor Trumper.
Dusty - Plenty of turn on offer for spinners and a good place to bat for spin-savvy batsmen. Good pace bowlers are still likely to thrive.
Even - Provides an evenly balanced contest for all disciplines.
Flat - A batsman-friendly pitch which provides little or no assistance to bowlers. Expect big totals.
Green - A lot of movement on offer early on, making it ideal for fast bowlers. Batting expected to become easier as the match progresses.
Hard - Ideal conditions for batting. Good deal of bounce on offer for fast bowlers as well. Could go either way
Dry/Slow - Ideal for slow and spin bowlers as the name suggests. Sometimes quite difficult to bat on.
Poor - Uneven bounce and a huge amount of turn on offer for spinners. Expect a slow hard grind for very few runs.​

RULES OF PLAY

Squads

Team squads comprise of 15 players in the main squad, and 3 additional injury reserves.
Teams shortlist their squad at the start, after which no more changes are allowed to be made.

Players eligible for their respective region can only be selected in that region's squad.

Lineups

Please include at least one wicket keeper (//) and six bowlers (//) in your lineup.
Captain () designated at the start of the tournament may not be dropped unless injured.

Please mark your active wicket keeper with †/ and your active bowlers with ^/.

Tiebreaker

In case of a tied knockout match, a Super Over is to be used as a tiebreaker.

Player Injuries

Injuries will also be randomly simulated at the end of each round.
Players that play without a rest are more likely to get injured.

Following are the types of injuries that can occur:

* Can play with a 25% ratings decrease; 50% chance of developing a Degree 2 injury
- Heals fully after a one-game rest.

* Out for one game; instantly made unavailable
- Can play one game early with a 50% ratings decrease upon return. Heals fully after a two-game rest.

Degree 4

* Out for two to three games; instantly made unavailable
- Can play one game early with a 25% ratings decrease upon return. Heals fully after a three-game rest.

Degree 5

* Out for four to five games; instantly made unavailable
- Can play one game early with a 10% ratings decrease upon return. Heals fully after a five-game rest.

Degree 6

* Out for six to ten games; instantly made unavailable
- Can play only after recovering from injury fully.

Degree 7

* Out for the remainder of the tournament; struck through from squad.
- Can be replaced by a travelling injury reserve when ruled out.​
