India tour of South Africa (4 IT20s) Nov 8 -14

Is Sanju Samson worth a try in test cricket, he plays against spin really good uses his footwork

Wonder how much of this Indian side will make up the core of the 2027 World Cup side. Got to imagine at least half might be in the squad. Giving them experience in these conditions could really make a big difference to India's chances.

I wonder why they are playing 4 games. Should have been either 3 or 5! Let alone my personal preference that T20i shouldn't have bilaterals, but to have and then play an even number of games, doesn't add up.

I think a considerable number of folks should feature in 2027. Agree with the 50% make up here.
Well for me South Africa should have been world champions by now
By that logic, England should have won in 1987, Australia in 1996, South Africa in 1999, New Zealand in 2019 & many innumerable T20 World Cups for India and Pakistan, ehh?

For me South Africa cricket will have there Messi moment very soon
I have no doubt about it. They have been a pretty strong cricketing nation, who have had a spate of bad luck going on and on. I dunno how old you are, but the 1990s were dominated by South Africa to a scary extent. A rain rule, a Lara brilliance and a Donald-esque level of stupidity prevented them from winning the 3 ICC events in the 1990s. They will get there soon- but how soon, is anyone's guess.

I can see the South Africa team lifting Makram on there shoulders why he is holding the world cup

Markram has been a good leader. Similar mould as Hansie Cronje. Hopefully the team is built properly around him in the near future.
