@Perfect Square

Simon Katich is my next pick.

An unconventionally styled versatile left hander. He had decent success in ODIs playing for Australia as an opener. Could play conventional shots as well as aggressive ones. He'll pair well with Watson.

1. :aus: :ar: Shane Watson
2. :aus: :bat: Simon Katich
3.
4. :aus: :ar: Allan Border :c:
5.
6. :aus: :wkb: Brad Haddin
7.
8. :aus: :ar: Simon O'Donnell
9. :aus: :bwl: Adam Zampa
10. :aus: :bwl: Jeff Thomson
11. :aus: :bwl: Terry Alderman

@Paranoid Kendroid is next

01. :aus: :bat: David Warner
03. :aus: :bat: Shaun Marsh
04. :aus: :ar::down: Marnus Labuschagne
05. :aus: :ar::down: Andrew Symonds
06. :aus: :wk: Alex Carey
07. :aus: :ar::up: James Faulkner
09. :aus: :bwl::up: Mitchell Starc
10. :aus: :bwl::down: Tom Hogan

Labuschagne may not have the power-hitting prowess but his ODI batting needs to be respected more.

@Viper.

Didn’t even get pinged weird.

Been delaying this for a while, but team needs a third pacer now to complement Johnson and Hazlewood.

Michael Kasprowicz, known better as Kasper, for that hell of a surname- was a swing bowler from Queensland who though was better in red ball cricket, was still a very decent odi bowler with 67 wickets @ 24.98. I have heard stories of him being one of those overshadowed by the legends of Australian pace bowling like Pigeon and Binga. Well he can play a solid role in my XI alongside Mitch and Josh to round up the seam attack.

The bad: I totally forgot to pick another quick until now. Oops.
The good: :aus: :bwl: Carl Rackemann is still here. He averages 22 in ODIs, and only really gets forgotten because Alderman and Lawson also had success in Test matches too.'

@Aislabie

Doug Bollinger

01. :wkb: Adam Gilchrist
02. :bat: Usman Khawaja
03. :bat: Steven Smith
04. :bat: George Bailey
05. :ar: Steve Waugh
08. :ar: Andy Bichel
09. :bwl: Nathan Bracken
10. :bwl: Doug Bollinger
11. :bwl: Stuart MacGill

@Aravind.

David Hussey is my pick. The reliable and powerful lower middle order batter. Having played 69 ODIs (which is a nice number). He has an average of 32 and Strike Rate of 90. Which is great for that no. 5 / no. 6 batter.

He also bowls part time off spin.

1. :aus: :ar: Shane Watson
2. :aus: :bat: Simon Katich
3.
4. :aus: :ar: Allan Border :c:
5. :aus: :ar: David Hussey

7.
8. :aus: :ar: Simon O'Donnell
9. :aus: :bwl: Adam Zampa
10. :aus: :bwl: Jeff Thomson
11. :aus: :bwl: Terry Alderman

@Paranoid Kendroid up next

01. :aus: :bat: David Warner
03. :aus: :bat: Shaun Marsh
04. :aus: :ar::down: Marnus Labuschagne
05. :aus: :ar::down: Andrew Symonds
06. :aus: :wk: Alex Carey
07. :aus: :ar::up: James Faulkner
09. :aus: :bwl::up: Mitchell Starc
10. :aus: :bwl::up: Geoff Lawson
11. :aus: :bwl::down: Tom Hogan

Probably would have been wiser to pick the second opener but I am going to put that on hold and pick my third pacer of the side in Geoff Lawson.

@Viper.

@Aislabie is late
So I am, yes.

:aus: :bat: Callum Ferguson
In ODIs, Callum Ferguson averaged 41 at a strike rate of 85. In List A cricket, he averaged 42 at a strike rate of 86. A player of his ability deserved a longer run in the Australian ODI team, but I'm glad that never happened because it has given me the chance to pick him up so late in the draft.

It’s time guys. It’s finally time to pick that player role I’ve been delaying for so long. Time for a wicket keeper Spin Bowler.

Nathan Hauritz seems to be the best option left. Handy off spinner with 196 List A wickets, around 1/3rd of which came for Australia in ODIs. Was probably overshadowed in his early days by Shane Warne, but still had a decent career. Only it ended about five years too early.
