Hi everyone!
I'm amazed at the changes over 2004 and the similarites too. Overall on my initial assessment it looks great, even though my timings are all different for batting!
But I'm unsure what to do for character creation - I can't see it in my manual what I'm looking for.
When we...
But ah, lest we forget the days of olde when Ian Botham took England to Victory in the Ashes match when victory for the English was deemed impossible?
He bowled and batted and pretty much did a Flintoff  Oh aye, they be the days, many many many decades ago!
Hi peeps!
Does anyone know of a way to change your created characters stats? Like make him a partnership breaker in bowling, for instance? Also what does miser mean? I have searched but could find no answer!
Any editors / hex links?
Cheerio all!
Hi peeps!
Has anyone actually managed to get the hat-trick yet? Am I spelling it right?!
Gah, just with Sam.exe (mostly vanilla) bowling is pretty difficult. I can get them (at around 65 per hit!) but not fast enough.
Cheerio!
Ah, who needs graphics? I remember playing a cricket game on the good olde Spectrum 48k... green floor with white pin men running and hitting the balls... really class!
Yeah, Botham and all that. Pretty snazzy.
Although I refuse to listen to the runout bug after having played that game...
Aye, that would be super info to know! Sometimes I hit a 6 (yay!) and other times it merely goes half through the field and ends up in the hands of a catcher.
Just bad timing I guess?
Cheers Peeps
Hi peeps!
Is there any way to use this file (good!) but still have the bowler's ball being shown from the run up instead of the last moment? I am still a newbie at this and like all the prep time I could find!!
Also, what is this run out bug?
Cheerio!!
Hi guys -
What I expected was to be able to create one player and import him into the team. Then I expected to bat and possibly bowl if my character came up. But it wants me to control everyone...
Like if I was playing Lancs, myself being a poor bowler (but a good batter) then I would...
