I prefer the old system in this matter. Signups close 1 hour before start of play and subs close 30 mins before Toss.
I see no merit in allowing users to change their XI once they know the playing XI. Loses the element of surprise and luck factor.
I feel more than the bowling, it's the batting that will lose us the series. Bowling wise, Australia is far, far ahead of us, but still we have a small chance since their batsmen are struggling too. But as long as we keep getting dismissed for 150 scores, there's not much the bowling department...
So this was indeed the difference.
Full marks to NZ for exposing India's known weakness, which surprisingly, isn't getting acknowledged by the think thank. Denial won't bury the truth.
I didn't think I would ever witness a whitewash at home but NZ had other plans. Congratulations to them for...
NZ are doing one thing consistently while batting and that is scoring 240+ each time. India were comfortably placed until the last 15 mins or so. So I think we are gonna see another instance where we fail to get past the opposition's total.
Also surprised with the talk of bringing back Pujara...
Well deserved victory and truly a historic moment for NZ. Can they do a clean sweep?
This is probably GG's boom or bust effect. We saw boom against Bangladesh and bust against NZ.
The Australia series now looks like a distant dream if our batting continues to fare like this (not that it would...
I don't think India will be able to win this one now. Historic series win for NZ incoming. They thoroughly deserved it too.
I've said it in the past too. The last Australia and England series also were too close to comfort even if the scoreline doesn't say so. We just got lucky in those...
Good cricket by NZ so far. Rachin has been a relevation.
WTC Final makes no sense to me if it's relegated to just 1 match. Should be a 3-match contest at the very least - one home, one away and one neutral venue. It seems illogical that such a long contested championship is decided by one...
It's over. I'm although glad that there was a fight put up by India. Too often we have seen the team make a good start in the 2nd innings (after trailing by a lot) only to falter and collapse in the 1st session the next day. Coming to this stage after being 46 all out and having a deficit of...
India still not out of the woods. I reckon they need to set a target of 200+ to be on the safe side.
VK would be kicking himself to miss out on a good hundred. That would have done him a world of good.
