Bonus Point System and Bye Weeks

Unless I've got something really wrong [which might very well be], to average <=12 would mean taking at least 2 wickets, as in a 6 over spell going away for 25-30 some runs would be quite normal?

The Dozy Doosras ? stats are up. Claim prizemoney too!

Yep. It has far too much luck factor associated with it. A team with consistently 30% worse stats across all players can still beat the better team 4 out of 10 times.

    Kshitiz's Cricket Sim 09 Discussion/Testing

Yeah... so am I. But sadly my irresponsible behavior towards supporting my past softwares has continued this summer. I don't really know what's been wrong... I just haven't been able to find the will and the time to devote to it. :noway

    Kshitiz's Cricket Sim 09 Discussion/Testing

Sorry for looking at this so late. Yeah, the website's down, or rather no longer maintained... I unfortunately lost all my website source with the old host and had no backups. :mad I can do a public release sometime... but if someone has the latest edition downloaded from the site itself...

The Maths and Science Thread - Collection of Problems and Facts

It certainly will be a simple Harmonic Motion if a tunnel is dug through and someone is tossed in. I've studied its proof/derivation earlier. Don't remember the exact specifics though. @Yudi - I think we assume the Center of mass as the direction of the applied force, but again, not very sure.

Which mobile phone do you use?

I've noticed that Advanced Task Killer is pretty much useless. It actually kills the multi-tasking ability of the phone, and the phone spends more time processing when you regularly use some apps and ATK keeps killing them. Android is designed to need no task killers, as it automatically evicts...

    Weird phobias

I don't really know how to define it but I think I have a phobia of Rapid Motion, be it in any form. Whenever there's sudden, jerky motion, I start to all panic up, even though I know its safe (easiest example, on rides with a safety harness). Dunno why, and hate it too... makes me sit out on...

Which mobile phone do you use?

Samsung Galaxy S here: Running stock Froyo ROM atm, with the Ryan's One Click Lag Fix. Waiting for the stock Gingerbread ROM, but if it doesn't come within a month, I'll pull the trigger on a CM build! Never used a better phone.

    Mobile Phone Under 20k Rs!

If you're happy without Android, go for the Samsung Wave. If you want Android, I'd say wait a while, 1-2 months. Awesome Android handsets should soon make their way in the under 20k range.

    Mobile apps discussion

Yep. Correct on both counts. Its a Galaxy S with pure, vanilla Android. I have the Galaxy S and suffice to say, its only drawback is the non-vanilla Android. I can imagine the Nexus S feeling...

    The Apple Thread

I think in the next to next (or maybe even next, not sure) windows version, this might start happening. They've done it in Windows Phone 7 now, and granted the concept is there in all Mobile OS's, the sandboxing technique in Windows Phone 7 is quite interesting. It might make its way to Windows...
