I'm on xbox console. I've downloaded some user made umpires but can't seem to find them. Where would they be located? Also trying to assign user made cricket bat to a player but then game freezes then crashes.
Can someone clarify how match 'difficulty' choice works. Does it work for both human player and AI? Or does the difficulty level just relate to the AI? And does the choice of difficulty affect the way the AI tactically plays the game?
Will academy creations be able to be shared and downloaded between different consoles....or will they be specific to console formats? There's already some great work going on out there.
This sounds promising. I'm currently playing on Xbox and really enjoying the whole game experience. And hopefully even more when Xbox patch arrives. My concern is that future tweaks and patches aren't at the detriment to some previously patched areas.
The previous ashes game was sweet until the...
Surely it's not so bad. I'm playing a one dayer...Eng v Aus at Headingley. Aussie openers Warner and Harris are 'nurdling' my bowlers around the ground at around 6 an over. I've had a few decent LBW shouts and some nice looking play and misses from the batsmen. I challenged an LBW decision and...
Just got the Xbox version of game from, of all places, Argos (UK.....not my usual place to buy newly released games).
It's in the console as I type this....and the missus is at her mothers for a week.....good times!
I might take the occasional break over the next 6 days or so.....to eat, sleep...
If not a bug then this could indeed be a great way to keep catching fielders on their toes. Although it might be a problem for me personally as it's taken me about 6 years to find and remember the catch button on the Xbox!! :yes
The leg glance, particularly the back foot leg glance, is one of my fave shots. I've never seen a cricket game in the past 12 years or so (EA Cricket 07) that had a decent leg glance animation. I was hoping Cricket 19 would rectify this. I will find out when I get the game.
12 hour shifts! They're a killer mate. And night shifts too. I'm well shot of them marra.
The only way to get the game early in UK I reckon is for the online pre order shops to post a day or two early. I'm paying full price for Xbox digital download. And waiting to play.
Sorry for not replying earlier as last year I wasn't in the market for getting an EA access pass.......but I'm considering getting one now. What EA games are you playing.....and how often? Are any of the EA cricket games available to play?
The occasional AI run out would be nice. I'm not talking about the disastrous 'both batsmen end up at the same crease' run out scenario...more the fielder gets the ball in to the stumps quicker when batsman goes for a quick single.
Thanks for posting. That I've seen a couple of leg glances has given me great encouragement. I can't recall either DB14 or the previous ashes game having them at all! You say the shot is difficult to play....maybe the games coding decides what type of shot animation gets played down the...
Enjoyed the vid. Please please please could someone kindly post a very brief vid of a backfoot leg/hip glance. If someone could do that then I could maybe chill a little and just wait for console release date. Thank you.
I'm thinking of trying to get it on laptop. Does it need a console controller? I don't have a wired controller! Or should I just wait for Xbox release date?
