It seems to me that when playing custom tournaments, changes don't show on the lineup screen but show up when match starts. Also, the ratings calculated on lineup screens are incorrect, not sure if this has any impact.
Interesting about the declarations, wonder if this is the same in Human v AI. If so, it would be good to see more variation in declarations and some high AI scores.

Perhaps minimum pace speed influences the speed for lower ability bowlers? Seemed to me to have some impact. I'd imagine the difference between min and max determines how much variation there is between good and bad pace bowlers.
I have attached partnership and batting mentality information.
Unfortunately, though batsmen do appear to behave differently, I am not sure exactly how mentality impacts behaviour - further work here is required. (Will also edit the mentalities to give more of a mix)

Sorry if this has been answered elsewhere but will it be possible to transfer teams (and their players) from DBC14 to DBC17? It looks like it will but I haven't seen confirmation. I spent a lot of time doing some custom teams and don't really want to do all their players from scratch...

Loving the continued support for the game. Understand there probably won't be major changes to the game now but would still suggest the following changes to improve the bowling experience against AI.

2) AI should use double trigger shots less and should be more...
What difficulty are you simming on? It seems to make a difference. On rookie the team batting first nearly always wins irrespective of ability. On legend the scores are more accurate.
