can someone list out (maybe the developer himself) all the places people can pre-order or order this game.
Something like - if you're in the US, here are the links etc. you can buy it from? And put that as a sticky right at the top
There's like pages and pages of people talking but I don't...
I would love to buy it on Amazon for US play on PS3. Hopefully patches/DLC will be working with a PS3 copy playing in the US. I just hope they print enough copies so I can get one...
Any word on the Steam PC release as well?
What is everyone arguing about?
No one owes the developer anything. The developer doesn't owe us anything. The developer coming here and giving us info is good but is ultimately their own choice because they are marketing it also through here. I think they don't have a full blown marketing...
Does that mean the game could be available for purchase on PC via Steam after 2 weeks? Around mid-April?
Or pre-orders for Steam will go up then? Or it will integrated with Steamworks but not available on Steam till another future date.
Can you clarify?
Console release is on Apr 03 which brings finality to the release date.
Couple of ques
- is amazon a distributor because I know they can ship a game to the US
- what about the PC Steam version? Would that be 2 months after - around Jun 3?
- what about pre-orders? are they open now? where?
Just saw the video and it looks fantastic!! I think this looks like a very high quality game. Some things were there in other games (probably the IGN guy wasn't aware) like team customizations, dive to crease etc. but I like that Cricket Academy has like over 500 teams when I last checked -...
Wow! Watched all 18 mins of it and it looks fantastic!!
I'm glad we got to see bowling and fielding and although the learning curve may be steep, it looks like the reward for it will be worth it.
Looks good so far.. Some silly things persist like crowds which look cardboard cutouts and...
What are you talking about? Same applies to you too. There are lots of games where lots of information is released - look at Dark Souls 2 or even smaller games like Grim Dawn - developers do release lots of info. This isn't unique to just this game.
And Of course, I know it will release when...
With less than 4 weeks to go to the end of March, any firm release date has been released?
Not happy with the way the release is being handled. The product is good, the release is not.
I was hoping to see official videos of the game in action - say a 5 over session between 2 teams showing...
EA cricket would likely be another good cricket game. I really enjoyed their past games. EA Cricket 07 was very good for its time.
And I have their 2002, 2004, 2005 and 07 and you could see the improvements in that series.
I really enjoyed EA Cricket 07 and was looking forward to their next...
Alright. Fair enough.
Note that I wasn't attempting a review but sharing just some notes and observations.
I would hope people would keep that in mind when reviewing future games as well because for past games (Ashes Cricket 13), there were lots of emotional comments for which the same...
Although I appreciate you reading it, you should realize that feedback will not always be positive and will sometimes be scathing. This is true for any review including plays, movies, music etc. Feedback is usually from an emotional point of view because of the positive euphoria or sheer...
few notes -
- the mouse pointer should be auto hidden when the game starts. I have a controller connected and the mouse pointer is still there.
- The batsman in the game should not keep doing the bending down animation after most shots like in the Nets
- My char sometimes clips the stumps...
Definitely very good at this point. I like that I can now play shots freely around the ground instead of trying to just touch the ball to not get out.
Advance down the wicket shot now is a sure shot. A couple of versions ago, leg shot was sure shot.
Some LBW decisions were dubious which...
That would be the lamest reason to not have official videos of the game. Seriously, it is crazy that there are no official videos of the game in action. The only videos are shaky phonecam videos from a single days demo somewhere. There should be official videos demo'ing bowling, fielding...
One of the images has stumps which says "BigAnt" on the stumps. LOL.
Looks like an Indian company. This is a foreboding of whats to come when the game is released in India wrt piracy.
Not really true. Pitchers have so many variations in their pitches. There's fastball, curveball, sliders, slow ones and at least a dozen more variations.
Don't think baseball is easy.
Baseball has derived from Cricket but it is by no means a no-worry sport. It is quite a tough sport as well...
What australian dollar?
I was referring to my currency. The US $.
The problem with India is the ridiculous disregard for law and IP. If you make a game or a movie; in India it gets pirated even before it is out. That is crazy. People have no regard for the efforts it took someone to make a game.
