It is incredibly poor that the downloads from the community aren't working for PS4 users. I've tried disconnecting/reconnecting to the network but to no avail. I've stood up for the game in other threads but there is no defending this.

This. It's a game for christ sake, one that I am largely enjoying, despite some flaws. If a patch is released at some point, great. If not, I'll carry on playing when time permits, enjoy some matches, get frustrated with others. Just like watching England cricket.

Interesting theory Phil, I'm on PS4 and definitely get edges, both AI and human. Mind you I only play AI set to pro level, batting hard, bowling and fielding medium (my excuse being I don't get much time to play) so don't know if that makes a difference?

Man I hate those wickets when you bat/pad it and the wicket keeper sprints around with superhero speed and takes the catch in front of the batsman. That and the front foot leg side shot that triggers a back foot pull. Real game breakers for me that I hope will be rectified in the next patch.

Me neither, I played a 3 day game on medium and got edges (hard pitch, light cracks) and started a Test on hard (grassy/light cracks) and got edges in both. My worry is a patch is released that increases edges and they'll be too commonplace.
