Maybe I'm doing something wrong but I started a test between England and India. Green pitch and used my sliders to basically make it a seamers paradise.
15 overs in India are 40/0 without a single sniff of losing a wicket. Its back to the old ways of leaving everything even if its an inch...
On the rain point, I would love it if it was added in. Weather is a huge variable in cricket, particularly the longer forms of the game and rain or cloud coming or going massively affects the way the test is played.
It's a complex issue in real life that would probably be a nightmare to...
Anyone else having issues with loading a saved match? Yesterday it was fine, today with no update it's probably only loading up successfully 1/10 times. The other times it just says loading until crashing to the PS5 main screen asking me to send a report to Sony.
Tried loading up my world cup...
One thing I noticed was that shots from the AI were going for 4 when if the fielder stepped over they'd take the catch. This is happening on shots where the fielder is running alongside the flight of the ball. The ball literally bounces about half a metre next to them as it bounces off for 4...
Just loaded up a 50 over tournament and started as England. First time playing with the latest patch.
I must say I'm impressed with what I have seen so far. Bowled 17 overs and have South Africa 60/3. If anything the AI run rate has been a bit slow, loads of leaves and blocks. There has been a...
It's a difficult balancing act as before the AI knew what was going to hit the stumps and was leaving anything, even 1cm outside off it would leave as it just knows if it's hitting.
Now they don't necessarily score faster in tests using the same settings but they do play virtually everything...
It's getting beyond a joke now. Played a t20 last night. England vs Pakistan at Old Trafford with latest patch (PS5). I made 190 because I was able to milk the spinners with sweeps and reverse sweeps. Can nail it every time pretty much for 4 as the AI NEVER puts a man out. Surely there can be...
I've started a t20 world cup now I can finally access the community kits and team line ups. Hosted by England and I'm also playing as England. Only played 1 match vs Bangladesh at Old Trafford. I was quite pleased with the variety of dismissals both with spin and seam.
I had...

Because as has been the case since the game was first announced, the emphasis has always been on cosmetic improvement and making the game more appealing for casual gamers (it's worth more money to BA let's face it) rather than creating a proper simulation of the game that plays really well.
I...
I've adjusted sliders and still get the 5th/6th ball runs. It's not always necessarily a boundary but they will definitely score off it.
I'm interested as to which sliders anybody has used to stop this happening though. If anyone could share I'd greatly appreciate it as it certainly takes a...
In a test for 5 consecutive overs I bowled 5 dot balls and experimented in each over of delivering something completely unplayable for the last ball e.g. bouncer that's too high, something too wide or both, or even the delivery that for the previous 5 balls was deemed too difficult to score off...
It's quite embarrassing for BA that aside from graphical improvement there's no huge advancement there. This game is littered with errors and bugs that weren't even in the old Brian Lara games over 20 years ago.
I genuinely feel sorry for @MattW as he is the face of BA and has to come on here...
I can't play this game with any degree of enjoyment or longevity until two main things are sorted.
1. AI bowling too straight to opposite handed batsmen. It's just too easy to bat as a leftie on this.
2. When bowling, I just don't feel like I've ever properly got someone out. Just that they...
Haven't played this for a week now but keep coming back on here to see if the latest patch has miraculously fixed everything. Seems like it's just as bad as before.
Shambles really from BA
