one of the members from the BA posted about this a long time ago that for now they just want everyone to get a feel of the game
not consider this as a final product
they still have a lot of work left to do on physics model and other things
ball physics will be corrected or changed if needed
so...
that just can't be the only reason
thats too bad
now i really want to know why did they put broadcast cam for batting when BA themselves knew that its not suitable for batting with the batting system they provided in the game
on which camera setting did u play
i only play on broadcast cam and have tried this thing of removing the ball trail and the circle around the ball
after doing this i was able to see the ball clearly but not able to judge the length of the ball
so mostly played all the balls on frontfoot
and we don't even know if any real cricket player has tried this game yet or not
i am very curious to see how a real cricketer would play with these current mechanisms
will he be able to play without premeditating
if u want a pitch marker to judge the line and length then it could only be shown for a split second after the ball has been released from bowlers hand
only this way the realistic-ness of the game will prevail
other than that there is no other way to use the pitch marker and also keep the game's...
in ea cricket 2007 they even had actual videos of that scenario in which commentator explained what that batsman or bowler did in that scenario
this was the main reason why we liked it so much
just telling the facts that in this test match this batsman scored a 50 and you have to do it too won't...
i think pre-meditation can only be reduced by using pro cam bcoz even the actual players who play on merit of the ball are looking to the bowler like we do in pro cam
but mostly we all try to play from broadcast cam or some other cam reason being that we are not actual players
we are the viewers...
in ea cricket 2007 they had ashes scenarios like this in which u had to play as pietersen and score the amount of runs which he actually did to save the test match or something like that
it was fun
would love to play those kind of scenarios again
yup u are right
i've been playing dbc14 for almost 2 years and still pre-meditate when batting
most of the time have to play on front foot as u can get out on fuller balls when on back foot whereas u can even score on short pitched balls when on front foot
can you please post a video of lofted...
i would really like to see some fear in batsmans mind when trying to play a ball at head height
if there was something like decrease in confidence after getting hit by the ball or fear in batsmans mind to face the next delivery because of which he may play a rash shot or a bad timing shot
these...
hey man i know you didn't like the shot animation
thats fine
you have the right to put your views about the game
but atleast don't make fun of the player who invented it
u are criticizing the shot as if u never wanted it to be invented by anyone
that its so ugly
yup the best example for that would be to see the ongoing south africa vs new zealand test
lot of seam movement from the pitch going on
but not much in the air
nd the pitch has a greenish tinge to it
the only solution could be to reduce the speed with which bowler bowls the ball at different difficulty levels
at amateur or rookie if a fast bowler bowls 120-130 kph deliveries u can easily read the line and length after ball is released from the hand
this would also ensure that the game's...
this is bcoz of pitch condition
recall in dbc14 there was an option of choosing the pitch condition
to be pristine, uneven , wearing or worn out.
in england pitch conditions are pristine nd in subcontinent most of the times uneven or wearing
