It's almost as if he forgot that Virat and him chose to exclude Shami from the lineup for the 2019 World Cup Semi-Finals against New Zealand, especially when the pitch appeared to be the most favourable for him compared to any other Indian bowlers in that squad.
Even though he hasn't been at his in this WC so far and his fielding wasn't up to standard today, I would still have him over Shardul once Hardik is back. My ideal bowling line-up for India would be like this:
Hardik
Jadeja
Kuldeep
Shami
Bumrah
Siraj
Iyer - another player under scanner. He has...
The way we've been giving away wickets today is just ridiculous. We're practically serving New Zealand a chance to stay in the game with these careless dismissals. Gill and Iyer have been tossing their wickets away way too often. We can't be too hard on Rohit since he's playing his role, and...
I specifically logged in to express my happiness that Deepti Sharma decided to do that run-out. Besides, English people complaining is the cutest thing ever! Keep 'em coming!
People who bring up the spirit of cricket can fearsome tweak right off.

So, Ishan Kishan was brought into the Indian team because he played quickly at the top of the order. I know he has been out of form, but he has been piss poor, to say the least.
It will be interesting to see how our final 11 will look when we play that T20 series against South Africa in June...
