Chennai were not actually foolish by bidding for Saha, but with the amount of money they have, they wouldn't have bought a better 2nd Indian keeper for a base price. So, I would say it was a smart pick.

Rajasthan, Deccan (All overseas), Punjab and Bangalore have more overseas players than Indian players, so they all will be trying to get Indian players in the next session of auction. Even Mumbai Indians have the same amount of overseas and Indian players.
Everyone would be wondering, why Gayle wasn't sold but the reason behind that West Indies have a home series against Pakistan from Apr 21-May 24. (Exactly clashing with the crucial time of the tournament)
