That's absurd. I thought they got the clearance from the ICC for the 5-6 match T20 series. Would have been more useful than the ODI's with the WT20 just around the corner.

Vampire could work in a 9 set-up if the other factions are balanced enough to accomodate a fluctuating alignment role. And the death-idea could possibly work if it applies only if the vampire is night-killed and PD doesn't reveal a death in the morning. But I highly doubt it's in the game...
