Nah, he's already stated that he'll continue to keep in ODI's and 20/20's.

Indian Tour of Sri Lanka & Triangular Series, July-August 2010

After seeing the delivery close to 100 times this morning on the news the ball definitely pitched on middle stump. When you factor in that it was Williamson's debut, that he'd already faced eight balls and hadn't got of the mark you could probably excuse him for trying to pick that one off...

It was the bounce that undone a lot of the Indian batsmen tbh, I didn't really notice much movement of the pitch or in the air, not as much as India were getting at the start of the New Zealand innings anyway.

So after Taylor and Styris's efforts the next best score in this game was 19 by Sehwag, eeeekkkk. Had India taken there chances they could might well of only been chasing 180-200 which would of been gettable.

Yeah I'd agree with Morrison in regards to the speedo because McKay certainly seems to be bowling quicker then 135K.

So Taufell is human after all, shocking decison really.

He'll be alright (hopefully :spy) The thing is even though he's relatively young he's plenty of failures during his cricketing career. On his New Zealand under 19 debut four years ago he picked up a string of low scores against the touring Indian team, when he made his first-class debut (on the...

Indian Tour of Sri Lanka & Triangular Series, July-August 2010

And this is why calls to push Brendon McCullum back down the order are getting louder and louder. New Zealand really needs to find a top quality finisher because it's been hampering this team for quite some time. Good score nonetheless, if we are going by past results New Zealand should have...

I really can't stand watching Taylor play spinners unless it's a 20/20 game tbh. Not only does he look uncomfortable as heck you know a ugly swipe is only a matter of shots away.

Hmmm, he probably wont get a better ball bowled to him for the rest of his career. He did look awfully nervous though.

Man, I'm so excited about tonights game. It feels as though it's been an age since New Zealand played some proper cricket. Really hoping Watling gets over his bug so he can make his debut along with Williamson, two Northern Districts boys in the New Zealand top four, it doesn't get any better...

    Nfl 2010

Seeing as the preseason got underway today I thought it was a good enough time to kick up this years NFL thread, iirc it was fairly active last season anyway.

    Emerging Players tournament 2010

He has the abilty to be a good bowler sure, but he isn't fast enough to get away with being that inconsistant. From what I've heard he loses his head a lot and really starts spraying the ball all over the place striving for that extra pace. In terms of other left armers around the country I'd...

    New Zealand Domestic Season

He only played at the end of last season because of Central's injury list, iirc Thompson, McClenaghan, Mason, Small and Diamanti were all injured. Given that he's only 18 he was at pretty long odds to pick one up. Interesting to note that George Worker didn't pick up a contract this year, he...

    Emerging Players tournament 2010

Agreed. But New Zealand cricket being as cheap as they are decided "Hey, why spend thousand's of dollars sending the A team over to England when we can just take them across the tasman for next to nothing"

    Emerging Players tournament 2010

I don't rate Neil Wagner what so ever, he's a better limited overs bowler then what he showed today but overall he's fairly average. Why he's even in the A team I'll never know. He's taken his 40 odd wickets for Otago at just under 40 and has never before impressed whilst playing for New Zealand...

Yes, because Yuvraj doing well in limited over cricket in the past has shifted over to success in test cricket right? You would think that after 30 odd matches averaging 35 the Indian selectors would realise this, he's just such a awful test batsmen.

    Chris Broad / Stuart Broad

Haha, funnily enough Sky showed that yesterday during the rain break. Had every right to be pissed though, the home umpires for Pakistan were firing English batsmen left and right.

    Pakistan vs England Jul-Aug-Sep 2010

Well he was dropped on 10 iirc when he made his 100 by Daniel Flynn, if he takes that catch then perhaps Akmal isn't even in this test team at the moment. He's a talent as I said earlier, but his technique is rather shoddy for test cricket. He'll have to develop his back foot game if he wants to...
