Hmmm. My point on ten Doeschate is that his batting averages have been vastly inflated through playing years of associate cricket against teams such as Namibia and Kenya. For example, 4 out of his 16 first class centuries came just in the Intercontinental Cup in 2006. Yes it takes a good batsman...
Evans Takes Six in a Losing Cause
Six wickets from Danny Evans were undone by a late partnership from Adil Rashid and Anthony Rickman and good work by the Sussex bowlers on a wicket that did a lot for the quicker bowlers attacks at the Oval.
James Harris lost the toss and had to bat first...
141, 7 wickets to go and the tail did well in the first innings. I need my batting to keep me in the side at the moment, 1 wicket in 2 innings :facepalm
Hmmm. Enigma, for me, Strauss should be a bit higher and ten Doeschate should be lower, as well as pretty much everything (except Chanderpaul :p) that hedger has said.
For me, I'm glad to see MON leave Aston Villa. The man is a good enough manager for any club, and he has been successful wherever he has been. It's a shame he didn't realise what he was up against 2 months ago or he might have been given the England job by now.

Tiers for me, knockouts in a league doesn't work too well. You end up with too much luck coming into the final reckoning. I like the sound of the two cups as well, and the different styles help the variety.
It shouldn't be too bad. In my game my default Guernsey team (best bowler has a bowling skill of 42) are regularly in WCL1 and the Intercontinental Cup.
Freshwater returns but Griffith keeps place
In a slightly strange move that Andy Sugden suggested to us before the season even started, two keepers will play in the same team against Surrey for yet another Challenge Trophy match. Freshwater will regain the gloves and bat at 6, whereas...
And, as I mentioned on the Childish Things forums for the next patch, Shaaiq Choudry is more of a bowling allrounder. In their most recent lot of T20s he batted below Gareth Andrew, but still above Ben Cox!
