    England in New Zealand

He's one of those players who is always in & out of the squad. When choosing the test teams against Bangladesh, they were deciding whether to use Michael Mason or Iain O'Brien, and O'Brien got chosen ahead of Mason in both tests, putting Mason at 12th man. He is kind of useful to have really...

The way he performed (in the first test) against Bangladesh, I'm sure you'll see plenty of overs from Oram.

Good for you mate but please keep it in your own thread. You may not be aware but this thread is here to discuss the cricket between India & Australia. Please allow us to do so.

It was still a huge victory, finally a team beats Australia in a test, & finally someone wins in Australia after a four year wait.

This was discussed last night. They are lighter pads usually used by tailender batsmen.

It seems Bond didn't go too well in his return to Canterbury in their twenty20 loss to Central Districts. He bowled four overs with figures of 0-38. Will be interesting to watch him play against Otago tomorrow.

    Your Favourite Memories

This game, to me, still remains the best cricket game I've played. If they could just remake the same game with an updated roster, better graphics & some of the modern ea sports things (like foreign tours, t20, domestic cricket, licenced bats etc) we'd be in business.

    Any Improvements?

Might I suggest that we move the "Cricket News Members' Articles" sub-forum to the Cricket Zone to make it more noticeable? I imagine that's where most people on this forum look, though I haven't been here for long.

According to this article he is aiming to be back with New Zealand when we tour England.

    England in New Zealand

Sorry to go on a bit of rant here, but... I'm getting sick of all the fuss about Bond. When Bond is in the side we are refered to as 'New Zealand'. When he is not in the squad we are refered to as 'New Zealand without Bond'. He is barely in the team anyway. It should be that when he isn't in...

    England in New Zealand

Yeah we do, it's still fairly new though, not as established as the English competition. It started yesterday with Northern Districts beating Wellington by seven wickets. Strauss scored 28. There's a lot of twenty20 matches this weekend. I'm going to two, one of which is Otago vs Auckland...

You see quite a lot of New Zealand tailend batsmen using those pads.

I'm surprised you guys haven't seen these pads. They are pads made by field hockey company, OBO. They are designed specifically to be agile & very easy to run in. They are mainly used by tailender batsmen looking for easy runs at the end of an innings.
