Just finished my first ashes test playing as Australia on Legend AI and hard settings with default sliders. Starting the test the first screen should really say “The Ashes - 1st Test”, personally for me this sets the tone however with it saying “The Ashes - Round 1” feels like a cheap gimmicky...

So infuriating fielding overhaul was so heavily marketed and all the talk about it being re-written. Let alone white sight screens for white ball matches are still here from C22. Frustrating this is our only option for cricket gaming.

Uh huh! Now this is the sort of athletic fielding I can get around.

If it’s a design feature then so be it, just a massive culmination of fielding bugs and errors which are currently going on. Edges to the keeper are impossible to take as the mini game pops up for a split second with no time to react, throwing to the keeper who lets it go by, fielders walking up...

I have never had it happen before, is this normal? I thought that was the point of the mini game.

Just to add to the noise of people wanting fielding to be looked at over hauled- it has never been worse.

Did anyone get their points from Test the Best? Mine just moves on to the next set of challenges and no medals or points.

Post patch shenanigans. Edit: the game crashed after the over was complete, no issues when I went back in for another go.

Nah I always try and get as far to the no ball line as possible, just feel like it makes it a more quality delivery and harder to hit.

First game post patch, I don’t move side to side when batting, I bowl a mixture of deliveries and got a negative fair play score. Sheesh tough crowd :lol
