    Cricket 24 - General Discussion

Still (Rugby 25) comfortably the worst game I’ve ever played. I fire it up now and again after several patches to see if it’s approaching playable, and it’s not in the same dimension. A disgrace and an embarrassment

    RUGBY Rugby 25

You cannot reliably switch the player you’re in control of, so often you’re entirely passive, especially in defence, hoping somebody tackles them. I actually had possession of the ball at one point, and not control of the player in possession. As good as tie break is, this is doubly worse.

    RUGBY Rugby 25

I think this may be not merely the worst rugby game I’ve ever played, but the worst game I’ve ever played, full stop.

    Cricket 24 - General Discussion

I found genuinely that I struggled to complete matches, because I found bowling to the AI so unrewarding. I’d be keeping slips in just for show to fool myself it was “realistic”… Don’t get me wrong, it was a very good game and some things that were there in terms of customisation, retro...

If you didn’t mind the impossibility of getting an AI edge, yeah sure.

    Cricket 24 - General Discussion

I’m genuinely enjoying tie break, and I’d love to think the same fidelity would come into cricket. It’s got so much right 2 examples: 1: the sound is tremendous. Especially incidental sound - crowd, squeak on hard courts etc. this used to be great in the cricket games (the announcer, the...

TENNIS Tiebreak - Official ATP & WTA game

I bought this the other day(PS5), as it was on sale for around £25. I have to say I’m very impressed. I’m not sure what the earlier states of the game was but what I’m playing is very good. Certainly vastly superior to Top Spin. I’m shockingly bad, but getting to grips with it. My only...

    Budget Draft: Bargain Hunt

Ha, no… though I actually realised there was a 26 point spinner I overlooked and I’m disgusted at myself. I’ll console myself with the idea I needed the captaincy though

    Budget Draft: Bargain Hunt

Well, it's more than 24 hours without @CerealKiller / @Aislabie going, so I'll go ahead and complete my team. I just want raw pace, so alongside Ezra Mosely with the new ball, is Devon Malcolm Criminally misused by England, and too often left out for military medium gun-barrel straight...

    Budget Draft: Bargain Hunt

Jack Russell was often overlooked by England, and thankfully for me he's been overlooked in this draft. He was usually left out so Alec Stewart could keep wicket and balance the side in the absence of a genuine all-rounder. But he was also left out at different times for Richard Blakey, Steve...
