Can confirm it happens to me also. Spinner (OS) pitching the ball right outside off stump to RHB spinning into the stumps, I play a defensive shot by moving the both sticks to 2 o clock and the batsman blocks to mid on instead of mid off. I get cleaned bowled. Happened quite a few times so far.

I Feel the same way regarding the pitches right now (on ps5). It felt different 2 weeks ago. Now, although it has effects on bowling, it doesn't seem to matter to batsmen and the way they bat.

What controller method do you use to bowl ? I have always used pro bowling and I'm cricket 22 spinners seemed too powerful, but doesn't seem so in 24. I think someone here also brought up if the controller settings are somehow causing it.

Though it's definitely better in quite a few things I wouldn't say it's better overall. The academy is an absolute mess. Even player models doesn't look good compared to c22. Kits are not downloading properly or not showing up in game properly. Just not sure what's going on with all that...
