This is something I'd like to know also. Been through all the options today and can't see any way to do it. Even when creating a new player, I can't see an option. Anyone know anything about this?

mostoaus, I copied the settings file over, and although i got the trophies message, they are not disabled. So you DO get the message, but trophies are NOT disabled if you copy the settings file.

FYI Managed to unlock a trophy last night with the Divadinho's settings file, so it looks like you get the message about locking trophies regardless of which file you copy over, it's just it doesn't actually lock them if you just copy over the settings. SO...thank you Divadinho, good work...

I tried copying over just the user settings files last night, so I could have the edited teams and still unlock trophies, but when I tried to copy it over I still got the message telling me that trophies would be locked as the data belonged to another user. Can someone confirm (or deny!) that...
