So, Big Ant finally replied to my tweet about a release date... @bobbyohara @Stannie655 @130i_LE Last quarter of the year, an Academy and playable parts of the game will be released prior. At least 8 months of build up and anticipation.

Excuse my ignorance, but what's the latest on patch 3? Have Big Ant confirmed recently that there will be a third patch coming out? I know it was talked about a while back... cheers

Hi I've followed the forum on and off but should get the game in the UK tomorrow. My question is, I remember there being an issue with downloading the "get best" from the academy which led to non bowlers or even reserve wicket keepers bowling overs (Peter Forrest was one example) while numbers...

Been watching a few of the videos uploaded to YouTube.... has anyone seen much spin? The spinners don't seem to turn it much, or is this just a case of newbies to the game not bowling well? Anyone else seen this?

From watching a video in another thread, it should be mentioned in here about the AI choosing Peter Nevill (non keeping keeper with 0 bowling rating) to bowl. I think another keeper with a 0 bowling rating also bowled while a couple of well known bowlers like Behrendorf didn't get on. Hopefully...

The UK testimonial is good news. You'd imagine there are plenty of dhl flights between a US and UK (or however it works!) compared to Hungary. I think it'll arrive a week after dispatch. Which is fine.

Nice, so if they ship on the 2nd, it should (fingers crossed!) be with us by the 5th which is the Saturday, or more realistically the Monday.

They say they are using DHL Express.. not sure how long it'll take. Even if it takes 8 days and arrives on the 10th, that's a day before the supposed UK release... which might still slip further.

I've ordered from Mighty Ape. To me there is a difference between GameExchange importing it as a UK company, to me placing an order and paying for delivery from an Australian company. Restriction on trade if Aus companies are blocked from shipping to the UK, is it not?!

Placed my order with Mighty Ape, apparently it's coming via DHL Express... so we will see! If it works and I get the game earlier than the slipping UK date then great, if not then nothing ventured nothing gained! Expected ship date is April 2nd...

That's probably different as they are a UK company looking to import. I'm just ordering from an Aus company who can post to wherever they want

So that should mean that if things are tight and the game isn't ready for the 4th, that some places will deliver it on the 7th/8th. The release date is the 4th, but sites like Amazon and the others are warning us the customer that it might not be with us until the 11th. As 365games.co.uk...
