To be honest I think that the disadvantage to bowlers is way too great. I have no chance of ever getting a MOM because the batsmen have such inflated averages and the bowlers have such poor ones.

Also, I think we should be looking to dump this stupid sim sometime in the future. There are better sims out there that we can chip in and pay for that don't make many stupid decisions, I mean a specialist batsman leaving a ball from a part time bowler at such a crucial stage?

International Test Cricket and Howzat ODI. CricketWeb and, to my knowledge, Cricsim uses these sims and Rhys can tell you they are excellent compared to the crappy sim we're using.

I was actually about to post the same thing. Just went through and saw that it happened to both teams once. Doesn't change the fact that its time to start looking for a different sim (or make one, whichever).
