15th June: Bitters v Dynamos [OD RD16]

I'm really hoping that people realise I'm not joking - the home team has to get at least 24 hours to post the pitch otherwise it simply isn't fair.

I have to agree with Dean, 24 hours notice is the rule and 24 hours was certainly not given

Stop whining Dean. That's all you seem to do!

The game will not be re-simed and the result stands. Oh and the last time I looked you don't really do a whole lot around here anymore. You seem to control people who are actually simming, running or helping, when you are doing nothing. I honestly don't see why that should be the case...

Now hold on a second, he has a legitimate point. Obviously the fact he is protesting means he was going to be online to post the team and pitch within the 24 hours, but couldnt do it, therefore changing the possible outcome of the match.

It isn't what Dean is doing which should count, it is the rules that he has 24 hours to post details, which he didnt get. It does seem unfair to me.

To be fair anyone in the team can post the team for the match but I agree about the 24 hour thing. Re-match though? Maybe.

No way! This has been happening for a long time. Alot of teams haven't been given 24 hours. But nobody cares...Anybody in the team can post the team as Jaz said, but this has been happening for most of the second half of the season...

I care. Yes, I haven't been simming lately because my computer can't anymore. Considering the fact that I did it for a couple of years and then decided that you could do it trev should earn me some respect.

24 hours is more than reasonable, it gives me the opportunity to do it in an available time for me. Let me add that when I was doing it, I would try to do it at least a day before, and when I failed, I would always wait for the teams to post their teams and pitch before I would sim the game.

I also haven't pulled rank here yet, so don't bring it up. I demand a rematch as an angry captain.

And I am saying your not getting one!

Due to tight schedule, teams over the past season have sometimes had a lot of time to get things posted, but there is still time for at least one person from a side to post a pitch or side. You can't honestly say that nobody was online from your side within that time from thread opening to me posting. It was past 1 o'clock in UK time, so must have been rather late in Aus time. There was definitely enough time to get a pitch posted.

Teams, i.e the Dynamos, have posted sides and not pitches or forgot either but they have never once complained. It's not my fault it's your side's fault for not taking responsibility or just not bothering to post a pitch...

There is a massive difference between forgetting to do something and coming to do something and having had is closed early. In the first case, where someone forgets, it is clearly their fault so they have no reason to complain. In the second though it cannot be the sides fault because they didn't "not bother" as you say, they did bother in fact, but the deadline posted had been closed early. It hardly seems fair that the result is possibly changed because the deadline was not followed and then you blame the people who were following the real deadline.

They clearly did not bother seeing as there was roughly 18 hours in which I bet most of the Bitters active team members were online at some point. There has never been a deadline so I don't see where you are getting that from.

Also, I see people complaining all the time for games to be posted quicker, Dean having done so before. You can't have it all...
