I had won a couple of 1st class wins but had lost 10 straight tests.
On a tour of the sub continent with England and had lost to Bangladesh :crying and then faced the mighty Pakistanis
Should add that in tests I use autoplay for bowling and Pakistan batted first and made a massive 484-4 declared, I made 305 with Andrew Strauss top scoring with 84 from 90 deliveries, thus they had a lead of 179
Second innings they scored 275-1 declared on the 4th day just after lunch I think and so I needed a colossal 455 :upray
Highly unlikely but a record breaking 3rd wicket partnership of 235 between Strauss 242 not out and Solanki 101 gave me a great chance, wickets tumbled after Solanki went but Strauss stayed there til the end scoring his 242 in 224 balls and up until the winning hit he had scored 37 4's and no 6's but the last ball I just went for it slog/advance shot and hit my only 6 with him.
Somehow Shoaib got man of the match

BTW because Pakistan had amassed such big totals they had a very attacking field why I scored so quickly and they never used their spinner much and after the field went to the boundary when Strauss was on 70ish they came back in then when he was past his ton: not quite as attacking mind.

BTW this wn was achieved without any ai patches but default settings on medium :happy
