RECORD RUN-CHASE FOR NIUE!!!

Extraordinary from the Niueans, who have just chased down Guernsey's behemoth 358 with 5 wickets and 39 deliveries to spare! This is the stuff of dreams from Niue, who may well have gotten a shot in the arm with a win like this which can truly make them believe they can go the full distance! Simply sensational. After the first innings and a very typical Guernsey performance with the bat, very few would've backed Niue to chase 359, but a similarly constructed run-chase has given Niue the highest run-chase in the World Cup so far. Jayson Okesene (left) and Abdul Qadir (right) see Niue across, but it was Misikea Feleti, Dalton Nemani and Haitrosene Vemoa's innings that brought Niue oh-so close to the win. Okesene and Qadir merely fulfilled the formalities, but all in all, it was certainly a proper team effort that got them these crucial 3 points.

Guernsey, having come together so well with the ball all tournament, will be gutted with this display, which was more or less akin to a drug-addict falling back into a bad habit. Harrison Willis' 2/72 were the best figures in Guernsey's bowling card, while the worst definitely belonged to Ryan Edwards, who conceded 103 runs in his full 10.0.

Niue won by 5 wickets (with 39 deliveries remaining)

Man of the match: Dalton Nemani (Niue)

Mills and Charles see England home!

England complete a straightforward run-chase with Peter Mills and William George Charles guiding them home. England's 8-wicket trouncing of the Norwegians was set-up by Zachary Wilson claiming his second 5-wicket haul of the tournament to blow over their EUROCON foes for a measly 130/9 in their shortened 35-over innings.

PAKISTAN WIN GROUP D UNBEATEN!!!

Pakistan stun South Africa in a low-scoring thriller, dictated solely by Riaz Rawani's sensational 5-wicket haul blowing over the Proteas for an underwhelming total in the first innings of the match. A low-score which Shabbir Khan Durrani made sure didn't go down the drain as a squandered opportunity for Pakistan, with his admirable composure guiding them home and straight into the knockouts. South Africa suffer their first loss of the World Cup, which will no doubt make Morocco beam with glee.
